Only papers prepared in PDF format will be accepted.

  • Paper Size: US Letter format (8.5" x 11").
  • Paper Length: Up to 6 pages, including figures, tables & references. At maximum, two additional pages are permitted with overlength page charge to be paid during author registration.
  • Paper Formatting: double column, single spaced, 10pt font.
  • Margins: Left, Right, and Bottom: 0.75" (19mm). The top margin must be 0.75" (19 mm), except for the title page where it must be 1" (25 mm).
  • File Size Limitation: 2.0MB.
  • No page numbering on the manuscript is allowed.
  • Note: Violations of any of the above specifications may result in rejection of your paper.

If you are a LaTeX user, use the document class file in the zip file here which also contains a sample paper. You can create a IEEE Xplore compliant PDF file using the commands: dvips -o mypaper.ps -G0 -tletter mypaper ps2pdf mypaper.ps mypaper.pdf

If you are a Microsoft Office user, you can download the MS Word template .

A good way to convert your final paper to PDF is to use IEEE PDF eXpress (see instructions below). Please register, log in, and upload your source files. The website will convert it to PDF file for you and send you an email shortly with the converted PDF file in attachment.

IEEE requires that the final submission PDF files submitted for the accepted papers be 100% IEEE Xplore compliant. Please make sure that you follow the Instructions on how to produce IEEE Xplore compliant PDF files.

Submission of Final Paper

Before deadline March 20, 2015, submit the final version to email: icist2015@foxmail.com.

  • The email subject must be: ICIST_final_version_paperID (for example: ICIST_final_version_124, where the paper ID is 124).
  • The online system will email you a PDF file with name starting with “PIDxxxxxxx.pdf”. Send the file “PIDxxxxxxx.pdf” (don't change the file name) to email: icist2015@foxmail.com as your final submission.
  • Note: Only PDF files generated by IEEE PDF eXpress will be accepted.

Before deadline March 20, 2015, submit the scan copy of the filled Copyright Form to email: icist2015@foxmail.com.

How to log on EasyChair as an author?

1. If you don't have an account in EasyChair, you should first go to the following website:

https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=icist20151 and then create a new account using your main e-mail address (where you received this email). After that, you can log on the easychair system as an author. To change your personal information, you can click the button EasyChair->My Account.

2. If you have an account in EasyChair before, you should directly go to the following website:

https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=icist20151 and log on with your registered user name and keywords. Note that every e-mail address corresponds to an account, thus if you have multiple accounts in Easychair, please use the account which is registered with the e-mail address where you received this email. If you want to change your main email address, it should be done in two stepes. First, you should click the button EasyChair->My Account, and add your new address as an alternative email address. After that, you can either make the new address the main address or delete the old one completely.

3. How to submit your paper to ICIST 2015?

First, you should log on EasyChair following the above instructions, then click the button “New submission”. You can add the authors’ information, title, abstract, keywords and other useful information that can help us decide which category your paper belongs to. Remember to choose at least one corresponding author. Finally, upload your paper as a PDF file and click “Submit” button to finish your submission.
