This tutorial will present the theory and application of a powerful new
connectionist patent called the "Creativity Machine Paradigm," that has
been recently heralded by NASA as "an AI best bet" at producing
trans-human intelligence in machines (Bushnell, D. M. (2001). Future

Brief Bio:
In the course of his 14 year career at McDonnell Douglas, Dr. Thaler
worked diverse areas that included high energy laser warfare, nuclear
hardening of materials and systems, stealth technology, laser-driven
growth of diamond, and ANN-based airframe health monitoring, ultimately
producing significant patents in each of these arenas. His recently
founded company, Imagination Engines, Inc., based largely upon the
Creativity Machine Paradigm, caters to a wide range of corporate and
government customers that include Gillette, Raytheon, Boeing,
Anheuser-Busch, Booz-Allen & Hamilton, and the Air Force Research
Laboratory (AFRL).
